Quenching Oil is recommended for general purpose metal quenching operations, developed from specially selected high viscosity index base stocks having excellent thermal and oxidation stability, low volatility and good fluidity. Quenching oil is blended from Hydro treated mineral oils with carefully chosen high quality premium performance additives and anti-oxidant to provide good wetting characteristics and higher cooling ability for delivering accelerated quenching rates.
